Little excited little worried little happy little sad. Now it's time to join the college and leave the home. Excited to reach the new place and meet new friends but sad to leave sweet home 🏠 and parents. jnp be good to me, I'm coming 😊

yesterday was a day of disaster in Bhutan especially in Wangdue and Punakha. From the morning self we were scared 😓 by the earthquake which made me to jump out of the bed and ran out of the home. When I came out and stand on the door 🚪 it was raining ☔ so heavily and chocolate brown river was flowing below looking so wild. It rained for the whole day and and the evening was an unexpected scene. I was just cooking the dinner while I suddenly heard that the lake in Laya is about to burst and at any time it would reach here in Wangdue and we are asked to be alert. I was shocked at once and decided to run 🏃 to the mt. Top. We were waiting for the alarm to buzz and ready to run. Every people was scared 😓 some were in confusion. Some were even carrying beddings. June 2nd the most memorable day of our school life and celebrated widely as the social forestry day in Bhutan, where every Bhutanese plants proudly around their community and their home area on the day. Truly missing the day which we should call it as a green day.

life is going quite well this days and I'm only praying that everything will go as it should be going. People says that everything happens for once own good and I have started truly believing on that saying because it happened with me. The most important lesson that I have learned is that not to regret for what has happened with you as there is no wise in regretting but to think of what will you be doing next.

Today the 1 st   April,  I believe is the day of fun where even a student can make fun of their teachers and they don’t tend to mind. They say it’s an April fool day. Today is the day where one has to be really careful and conscious because at any time you may be fooled by your friends colleagues relatives and even by family members. I still remember the way how the students starting from a small child up-to teachers enjoying this day and making great moments. The way my friends used to play tricks on others. The really common trick is to say someone “look..! Your shoe lase is untied J ”. Even I was fooled many times by my friends as I don’t used to remember the day. Sometime I used to try my best to remember the day and stay smart but used to fail many times. With the belief that everything that happens in our day to day life just happens for our own good and with a reason, I thought of sharing a short story or an incident which happened with one of my friends. Few days back he was busy in searching for a job and after seeking at various companies he finally got in one. That day he was really happy and he immediately joined the company from the next day itself. He was working there with his full heart and dedication. Within few days he met with many new friends and their work was under full swing but one ugly morning he was going for his everyday chores where he saw that the MD of the company was just standing in-front of his office but he didn’t notice him as it was quite usual. As he was passing by him, suddenly a voice came from his back “hey! In life, the first thing we must have is the dream to have something or to become something in the future and the determination to fulfill that. The dream that we dream about gives us the courage and determination to move forward and make it happen one day. As rightly said by the Bruce Lee “knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do.” Like-wise simply dreaming is not enough; we must have the determination, hope and the strong belief in the dream that we dream of. The strong belief acts as our weapon and shows us the path that leads us in approaching our dream but if don’t have the dream in our life, it’s very hard for us to become a successful man in the coming future. This is actually a good news for all the residents of Wangdue and even for all the citizens of Bhutan. I’m talking about the construction of one of the biggest hospital in Bhutan at Wangdue dzongkhag by the Punatsangchu hydro project at wangdue. The hospital is under construction and it said that it will be completed within few years.   The construction works of forty buildings project is under full swing and almost half of the construction work is completed. I’m talking about this because the hospital is just above my house and it’s a good news for me too. When the hospital is completed thousands of Bhutanese citizens can receive its best services like at the JDWNRH in Thimphu and many people who may not be able to reach Thimphu can receive the same service from here by then. This was my first time attending the parents and teachers conference in the school. Few days back I heard that there will be a conference in the school soon. Since my youngest brother is studying in grade one and mom being busy with her daily schedule and only option left was me. I tried hard to ignore knowing that it would be so boring listening to long session but couldn’t avoid. Today was the conference and had to attend. Unexpectedly the conference was held outside in the sun as the school don’t have MP hall which they should. Listening to the speeches from the principal teachers and the gup’s long speech, I almost lost my sight. As expected they were talking about the child’s hygiene diet punctuality studies and more than that they were focusing on the budget for the school rimdo and statue of ‘jutsen jamyang’ the god of wisdom which was good but they should have talked more on how to improve the child’s study. Using cellphone while driving is strictly prohibited from the law only to secure our own life and live a worth life but people are taking this things quite lightly and losing own life and even others worth life due to a simple carelessness of the drivers. Today morning shocking it just happened beside our home above the dragon nest resort. The driver was busy talking in cellphone when he realized that he is out of the road and falling down from the hill. The road was straight but I don’t know how he lost his control and directly fell around 50 ft. down on the resort’s car parking. Few guides and drives saw the accident in 3D motion just in-front of their sight and they said that they quickly tried to rescue the driver reached him to the Bajo hospital immediately. With my heart beating at the highest rate and my entire body shivering, I shouted to my house owner who was still on the bed at the next floor asking him to reach me to the school quickly. Hearing my unusual voice he woke at once and as he was kind hearted, he was ready to reach me there. I quickly wrap my gho and run towards the road at my highest speed. I was wondering how could I be so stupid and idiot at the moment and how could I mix up the ‘board time table’? Luckily it was dzongkha otherwise I was dead. I was thinking that the day after is English and the final exam is dzongkha but in reality dzongkha was before english. How could that happen? With nothing in the mind but the fear of principal sir’s growl on seeing me, I reached in the school where the chief invigilator madam was waiting for me at the door of our exam hall and fortunately principal sir was busy talking with someone behind there. Our class twelve board exam time table was out by then and it was pasted on our school notice board at our block. I with all the curiosity quickly went to copy the time table on a piece of paper. Due to my laziness I copied all the subjects and dates in their short forms which only I could understand thinking that I will rewrite when I’m home. At the first glance itself I tried to grab the entire time table into my brain and I was sure about that. I rewrote it and pasted just in-front of my study table so that I can see it and study accordingly. By then I memorized it all and I was ready for the exam. We were almost done with our exams and only two subjects were left. They were dzongkha and English. One morning I woke up lately at around eight knowing it was off on that day. I was sure of the off and I didn’t ask to any of my friends on the day before. I woke up with the relaxed mind after a long tough exams and busy schedules. Being in the dilemma since a long time, smiles on the face but mind lost in the dark space. Trying hard to cope up with the scenario around and the situation from which I’m wishing to escape at the fastest way possible. Trying to think less as possible to bring my mind to the track and keep it in the most peaceful way possible. Trying to avoid the regrets and trying find a new way for me to step my feet safely knowing that there is no wise in regret. Waiting for the time to pass quickly and let me know where I should be standing. My mind is hardly walking along with my body and my speech. I can feel the mass darkness in-front of me and can only see a tiny spot of light which may show me the right way. I have a great fair of losing my way in that darkness but my tiny hope is helping me to aggregate my minds to think in a positive way. After a long time, had a fun in walking to high uphill lonely house where their lives only an old orphan man. The old man is quite related to our house owner. Today morning the house owner asked me to go along with him to the place as his friend and I agreed him as I go for walk every morning. The place is just three and half km upward way from our resident and known as Jasaykha(wangdue). Had a good fun after reaching there, doing the work of blacksmith and making a knife with a red hot iron and changing it into the desired shape was tough job but was a good fun as we were doing for first time. I was the man to hit the red hot iron with a 2.5 pounds hammer taking the risk to hit straight on the point and not on the colleague hands. There was a high risk that the piece of red hot iron would hit our legs after it’s detach form the main desired tools. We came down to the main road and waited for a taxi for a long hours but found none and suddenly a truck stopped for us while we were wondering who could be that but later we found out that he was our far cousin brother who too was driving to wangdue fortunately. Mom and I quickly got into the truck and reached a place called walk-lay-tar and the truck stopped in-front of small hotel there for a lunch.  We had a packed lunch but we too went inside to give him company. He ordered the rice there and my mom opened a packed lunch for two of us. There comes a big surprise for me, a girl came towards us carrying a plate of rice on her hand. She happened to be that girl how shocking? At one glance I identified her and I guess she too recognized me but could not look at her directly and share some words though I desired. Almost ten years back in a remote primary school when I was studying in the second standard, a girl who used to come to the school from a far village opposite to my house happened to be my classmate. We were in the same class for almost three years but I had never noticed her until the last year of our departure. I never knew when I started liking her and when my feelings for her start germinating but when I realize myself I found myself having crush on her. For me she was the most beautiful and cute girl in the class and in the entire school. In the ten years of distance, I still remember her face very clearly and her unique voice which I wonder is still same or might have changed but no wonder that I never thought of expressing my feelings for her not even in the dream. There are only two enthusiastic days in the students life, first one is the very first day of the school and second is the day of last exam and today was one of it for them. We as a student usually feel quite excited to go back to the school after almost two months winter break with   new uniforms, new upgraded classrooms, new class teachers and meeting old friends after a long break. The curiosity to know who came to one’s class as a new-comer, whether he/she is beautiful/smart and to know their names and previous school, to become happy if that beautiful/smart guy happened to be one’s classmate. Many boys usually tend to try the new comer girls to make his girlfriend before other could try her and same with girls J , I guess. Going back to one’s school after a long break and with the thought of upgraded standard and watching new classroom’s upgraded standard sign board at the top of door and feeling proud of oneself, usually feels really awesome. This story is the continuation of my last post of Jan ‘I suddenly became health conscious’. I was really in doubt that my hard work would go in vain but deep inside I was thinking that if I managed to lose even a single pound, I would continue with my daily routine which were a simple diet, light exercise at the evening, morning walk and evening jogging. And after a month hard work it worked actually, when I weighed myself yesterday, I saw that I have lost 17 pounds 64 kg from 72 in a single month and that was a great outcome. I’m very happy with my result and now my mission is to reach 60 within these 15 days, let’s see if I can rally manage that but I believe I can and that determination is important for me. I didn’t adapt any proper diet which is quite expensive these days nor did I join any professional gym session. It all was actually my own way of losing weight with full determination. And there we were at Changkha(Dagana) after a long journey from wangdue. Changkha village was about 15 miles rough road from Dagana high way. We were travelling at the back of DCM and with tiredness I felt asleep and when I opened my eyes at the junction called Potokha just below Changkha were our vehicle stopped for a while for the refreshment. I hardly could recognize myself and my other friends there because starting from our head to toe we were fully covered by the dust from the rough road. I tried quickly to wave them out but it hardly worked.
