    It was a very beautiful morning when we all the volunteer students and the teachers reached at the Wangdue Bridge eagerly waiting to receive the dragon riders. We reached at the bridge at 7:30 AM and we received the first rider at around 10:00AM. We all were very excited and we cheer up for all the riders. We received the HM Dasho Jigel at around 2:00 PM and he was looking so cool riding the bicycle. After that we stayed there for around half an hour and disperse for our home sweet home. We really enjoyed the day with teachers and other friends. And the Tour of the Dragon Riders was a successful programme.                                                              ...

Bhutan Olympic committee is conducting the Tour of the Dragon (Cycle Race) on 7 th of September 2013 which starts from Bumthang on around 12 AM and finishes in Thimphu (clock tower). And it’s a one day race.  Around 9 foreign or international cyclists are also participating in this race among which one is a woman from Canada and her name is Sandra Walter . Today the secretary of BOC visited our school (Bajothanghss) to meet the students and teachers who are volunteering to help and encourage the Cyclist during the race and I am one of them. As the secretary mentioned that many of the cyclists give up on the way from wangdue to Dochula because it is very hard for them to climb up the Dochula pass, so we are around 30 volunteers among which 20 are students and 10 are teachers to encourage the cyclist by simply cheering up so that they can regain their energy and complete the race.   On 31 st of August annual school Rimdo  (Puja or ritual) and intra-house cultural show competition were conducted on the same day in Bajothanghss, so that the less number of classes are being missed in conducting such programmes in the school. Even though these programmes were very important but academic is always above all. Rimdow was conducted inside the multi-purpose hall and the cultural show was conducted in the lawn beside the administrative blog which is normally used for conducting such programmes. Our chief guest was head of the Wangduephodrang Shedra (monastery) in both the programmes. Annual school rimdo  was conducted in the school for the welfare and prosperity of the school and all the Bajothanghss family. Second Unit Test Knocking at the Door “ting tong”. In our school, second unit test is going to start from 2 th of September and it has really approached to our door. This unit test is conducted twice a year, once before the mid-term exam and once after the mid-term. This system was introduced in our school (Bajothanghss) around three years ago in order to check the student’s progress in terms of academic session and also to prepare for the exam. It has always been successful conducting such test with all the worthy efforts of our school academic head sir Tshewang Jamtsho (vice principal) and supports from all the teachers. Many students are not taking this unit test seriously, not realizing the efforts taken by all the teachers while making the question papers and expenditure spent in printing the hard copies for them.      The movie which touched my heart…. The title of the story was ” Hearty Pow” which is a Kroean movie made based on an orphan children and the life of an orphan child. In this movie there is a brother Chan who is around 9 years and his little sister Soi who is around 5 years. They stay in their small house alone guided by their aunts as their father died at the early age and their mother went to city in the desire on money leaving her two very small children alone at home. There is also a pet dog Hearty , who plays a very important role in the story. They were happy in their small house and Chan always took care of his little sister but every night Soi asked about their mother to chan and chan would have no answer to his sister. They always hope that one fine day their mother would come and take them with her but unfortunately that didn’t happened and one day when chan and Soi were enjoying the snow ride, suddenly the dog got drawn and Soi ...

After a long break I feel like updating my blog again...actually in this few weeks nothing adventures happened in my life which I feel like to share in the blog. But yesterday was amazing day for me as well as all the students of Bajothang Higher Secondary School . Actually what happened was, a group of around 20 students of Raffles Institutes from Singapore had arrived in our school for the second time after 8 days of journey in and around Bhutan.Our school was 9th school visited by them.we had a very great day starting from the morning itself we had no classes for the whole day. morning three periods, we had a great conversation with two of the Singaporean friends, we shared about our cultures,our customs,famous festivals celebrated in their country and in our country and the education system there and here in our country. after three periods of conversation,towards the end of third period we had a photo session. On that same date mention in the above text my Bro-in -law had a massive accident above the Dragon Nest Resort due to that same flood. There were two men in the vehicle including my bro-in-law. Fortunately nothing happened to both of them...

(my home) It was on date 9th of May 2013 when I reached home from the school, the rain started and went on accelerating till it washed down all the soil from new PHPA hospital which is under construction above our house on the mt.slope.The water flow down like a waterfall and directly strike our house even the Dragon  Nest Resort.The water even got inside our neighbours house by penetrating the wall.I think they have not disposed soil properly which caused massive soil erosion. previously when there used to be heavy rain we used to have a fair (above our house) that the water level of river below our house may raise and cause damage to our house and us but now we always have fair that soil erosion from above may_. I think they need to make proper drainage system around their constructions so that_

Today at around 3 PM , i was chatting with my friend inside my room when I suddenly heard people shouting out ourside house and when I quickly came out to find what was going on, I could see people pointing at the mountain range (mt. range above the Bajo town) above the arm force ground (above the Bajo town) , the range was  burning surrounded by red flame, covered with smoke. All the army  were trying their best to stop the fire but the fire had already reached  at the top of the mt. range. But however at around 5:30 PM they  could managed to stop the fire after two and half hours of efforts. This days I don't what's going wrong in Wangdue because many  unexpected incidents are happening in and around wangdue. Police is still under investigation about this case and I hope they will able to find out the man behind this case who is a virus to this nation........ (Bajo town)

Happy Teachers Day.. Today, 2nd May was a very special occasion for all the Bhutanese citizens to make alive our late 3rd king of Bhutan ( Jigme Dorji wangchuck ) known as the "father of modern Bhutan" to acknowledge his all the contribution to the kingdom of Bhutan. may 2nd was declared as the teachers day on behalf of His majesty and the day is celebrated all over the Bhutan.On this day all the students wishes  and thanks their teachers for their all the efforts in educating them and every student and  their guidance...... On 27th of April 2013, a short road race was conducted in our school i.e .in  Bajothang h,s,s as we conduct annually. The race was among the 8 houses further categorised into Junior i.e. class viii and bellow, and Senior i.e. class ix-xii. Sr.boys were asked to run from our school to khuruthag bridge and again back to the school football ground. Sr.girls, Jr.boys and girls are asked to run little shorter distance respectively.   Sr.boys 1st (Bik Bdr from class xii sci (Dungkar house) this is the khader ceremony awarded to the position holders from each categories. students congratulating their house members with a big round of applause. Many houses scoured ( + )points at same time scoured( - )points, as many runners could not complete the race.

This year on 23rd of April 2013,  second term of National Council Election was held in all the 20 dzongkhags of Bhutan in respective polling station under each dzongkhag. And people are asked to elect their own representatives( NC ) from their respective dzongkhags to whom they trust and believe that he/she can really represent them in NC . And I hope that all the candidates who deserved to be a member of NC was elected by the people without any corruption and reinforcement. unfortunately I could not go for the election due to some circumstances but I hope I will be able to vote for the NA . But I am very much afraid that people might have elected a wrong candidate because last time when I was watching LIVE TV , the reporter  from BBS was asking few questions to the public "for what purpose are you voting and for which house are you voting?" and I saw that many peoples could not answer to this question especially the villagers because they didn't knew for ...

          Dream coming true  - starting.... T his year we the student of the bajothang h,s,school were very lucky to have a very new club called "Educational Technology club" introduced by IT teacher Mr.paSSu Tshering. This is a very new club in the education sector of Bhutan with the objectives to provide the students with better ways to learn and access the knowledge of modern technology in this modern era and make every possible use of the technology in the learning state. We are 18 first members of the this club with one president and I am very lucky to be a part of this club. we are now introducing this club with a very big objectives and I hope we can implement each of them simultaneously with the help from our president and our corporation among the club members.
